good guys is an electronics store chain in california/nevada and they are going out of business so there is a massive clearance sale. i didn't realize their geographic area until this sale. just thought everyone knew of the good guys. and the sale isn't that massive. things are about only 20-40% off and it wasn't a cheap store to begin with. so don't expect to walk in with $100 and walk out with a 8 megapixel digital camera. each day i drive to work, i pass the good guys and see the sale sign but never bothered to check it out. i'm sure all the good things are gone now but i wanted to take a look just in case there was something for me. after work and after dinner, i rushed out to cast my absentee ballot, return some items to stores, then had just enough time to check out good guys. we were able to get the lotr "return of the king" extended edition with collectors item set for only $35, plus i got 100 cd slim cases for about $17. not bad. the sales people in general were jerks but the guy who rung us up was very cool. twiddle thumbs asked if they had any flash drives and even though it was closing time and we were the last customers left in the store and this guy is about to lose his job, he checked the stock, found a flash drive, checked the price, then told us it's cheaper at best buy.
