skull Projects

Another "project" of mine is to minimize my life and I'm starting off by selling (and a few trades) most of my music collection. For now I am only listing about 200 pieces at a time, otherwise it becomes too much to deal with. If you do not see what you are looking for, then email me which band you are interested in and I'll see if I have what you're looking for. half.com, ebay, amazon.com, lala.com

never again starting 2006 [living]

continuing the theme from yesterday's post, i say never buy tickets (especially concert tickets) for more than yourself (and possibly spouse) because someone's plans always change and you end up with extra tickets you need to sell. twiddle thumbs and i wanted to go to depeche mode next week, turns out so does everybody else because all the shows in southern california are sold out. i was willing to drive a 2 hour radius to see them but all 4 southern california shows are sold out (staples center 2x, anaheim, san diego) and have been for quite some time. we have been looking on craig's list and there are a few people selling 4 or more tickets. one guy is even selling 6 together, another 8 together. this makes the price $50 per person, which is the cheapest you are gonna get them for. since we know so many who want to go, why not coordinate and get everyone in the show? sounds simple, hard to execute. by the time everyone got back to us with a yes, of course it was too late to get the tickets. i haven't heard from ticket sellers. so we decided to just buy two for the two of us even though others who said they would like to go might get pissed off at us for going. hey man, get your own damn tickets. i just picked up ours. not the greatest seats but way back when we first talked about going to the show, twiddle thumbs said she wants to go no matter how bad the seats are.
