one of my friends is giving birth to her first child next month and the baby shower party thing is happening this weekend so i had to haul my ass to get her a present. the one thing i like about my friend is that she makes gift giving so easy: she registers! all i have to do is go to the store she's registered at, print out her registry, and search for something i like on the list of what she wants. she registered with babies r us (it makes sense, she is having a baby) and for me the closest one is part of their parent company toys r us. after finding an appropriate gift, twiddle thumbs and i cruised the video games. damn, have we been missing out while we were away. we definitely have to get steady paychecks in order to catch up on music, movies, and video games. oh, and also on more adult things like transportation and housing, but entertainment comes first!
