netflixed "a touch of pink" and "the village". i wanted to see "a touch of pink" 'cos i missed it at a film festival in new zealand. i wanted to see "the village" 'cos of the word going around that it's crap. i really didn't know anything about the plots of the films before watching them so i was open to what the film had to offer.

"a touch of pink" was hilarious. oh my god, so many funny moments. i should've watched it again before i returned it so that i could laugh again and memorize the funnier bits. "the village" was boring. interesting idea, but done poorly. first off, what's with the accents? those are there only to throw off the audience. i think i need to see one more film by this director to form an opinion of him. so far, he's not impressed me.
