it's the old catch 22. i'm trying to find work because i need money but i don't have money to buy respectable clothes to get a job. so i'm trying to find some clothes that are easy on the wallet but look decent enough for making good first impressions. i would really like to wear a suit and tie sort of deal, but a fem version 'cos i don't want to look like i'm in drag. my first shopping venture for such clothes was today and i had a terrible experience at ross and the wal-mart next to it. all clothes either look like crap or don't fit my football player frame. after i do find clothes i need to find a pair of shoes, preferably some sort of dressy mild heel thing, but i know that is asking a lot for my big feet, especially since i've never worn girly shoes. (when i was in high school, my mom and i would joke that we needed to find for me a shoe store that drag queens shop at.) sometimes i feel like i inherited the worst traits of both parents: short height, big feet, broad shoulders, allergies, asthma, temper, mental instability ^_^
