upgraded to mt 3.2 [geeking]

going from 2.661 to 3.2 and ahhhhh! it's causing headaches. everything looked fine until i decided to refresh the templates to the new 3.2 styles. i did this so i could see the new tags in use in case mine are too outdated. big mistake. it fucked things up. i put back my old templates but things are still fucked. after i spent all day while i was sick making it look decent in 2.661, now that i'm feeling better i'm gonna have to spend all day making it look nice in 3.2. great. on top of that, it's like the new version is pointing the links to the new system of writing the entries and archives, however it is not creating the entries and archives according to this new system. so chances are, if you click on something, it's not gonna be there and you'll get an error. maybe i should just delete everything and import the entries. man, this is so fucked.
