twiddle thumbs's back in LA. i picked her up at the airport today. the first thing we did was go eat at native foods because it's 1 exit away from john wayne airport. when we got home, the first thing i did was make her read the script (version 1.1) for the short new zealand film we're gonna make. i heard her laugh. more than once. a very good sign. i made her listen to the demo i made of the parody song we're going to use in the film. my vocals are terrible, but other than that, the parody still seems like a good idea. didn't talk at all about the verse lyrics i came up with--our original concept was a parody of the chorus. i am still very much in doubt about our abilities to animate this and pulling off the kiwi accent for the voices, however i'm still motivated and think the final output will be something enjoyable.
