i am officially sick today. i've been coming down with a cold. fever, sore throat, tired, yucky mocos, funny voice. i hate being sick. really, really hate it. loved being as a kid because it meant no school. i also didn't feel too different when i was sick as a kid, as if nothing was even wrong. but as an adult, even if i feel just a little off, i can't stand it. so when i'm sick it's just that much worse. even though i just got sick, i stepped on the scale and i haven't lost any weight from being sick. where's the damn trade off?! alluding to one of margaret cho's old routines, twiddle thumbs reminded me that if i wanted to lose weight from being sick, i would need to catch malaria.
