in response to my summons for jury duty [living]
this is a call to serve in downtown LA at 7:45am for federal jury duty. getting up early! the traffic! how dare they! actually, it's not that bad for me. i feel for those summoned who live in the counties of santa barbara, riverside, ventura, orange, san luis obispo, san bernardino. what i don't like is all the instructions they have. you have to dress up and can't bring your cell phone if it has a camera.
