viruses, trojans, and worms, oh my! [geeking]
twiddle thumbs's little sister's laptop is messed up and she said she'd fix it for her. she didn't get around to it and left it up to me. great! so i've been spending all day downloading security patches and running anti-virus and anti-spyware types of programs and just trying to figure out what the hell is going wrong. god, i hate windows... but more i hate users that let their computer get to this point. never downloading security updates and doing other things that put your computer at risk. it's sex without a condom and now i'm trying to figure out what medicine to prescribe for the rashes and burning urination.
