siggraph in LA, part 2 [geeking]
we went to siggraph today, the last day of the convention. we walked around the exhibit area for about 2 hours, marveling at all the cool 3-d software, big name companies represented at the booths, and animated films to be released. we walked away with a lot of free magazines, flyers, demo cds, etc. too bad the conference is in boston next year. i would love to go again but attend more than the exhibit. maybe there's something like this but geared more towards filmmaking rather than animation, something that interests me more. attending this one just left me wondering what the hell am i doing with my life. what direction do i want to take. i guess that's been on my mind a lot lately and it's bugging me. answer tbd.
