we visited campus again this morning. after 10 years of living there, there are just a lot of people to see and you really can't do it all in 1-2 days but that's all the time we have. we had to do this visit now before we became tied-down in jobs and such in LA. after campus, i visited my dad's cousin and aunt in menlo park. then we went up to san francisco to have lunch with a friend. after that it was back down to santa cruz and had dinner with other friends. by writing this down, it seems like we have a lot of friends but we don't. that's why i don't use names--makes it seem like you know more people than you actually do. hehee

we took cack baby along with us for the trip to take photos to send back to our old wellington flatmates. i hope they enjoy them. we went to the ucsc book store to buy a glue slug (looks like a ball of snot) for them too because they are truly disgusting and i thought the flatmates would appreciate it. however, the book store didn't have any as the company that made it has gone bankrupt! so instead i got them a slug magnet that's cutesy instead of being true to the likeness of a slug, which is to be slimey.
