these past few days i've been continuing work on the songs i had started 2 years ago. i had meant to finish them all up last year before leaving santa cruz or before going to new zealand but i just ran out of time. these songs, by the way, are the only things still there on my old pc that i left behind. all those files i thought i lost by accidentally not backing them or the hard drive corrupting--still not exactly sure what happened because it was a crazy time and all is a blur--are actually lost. not a one is on the pc. it's very sad. so the other thing i've been doing is searching the net for wallpapers. that is the one thing that i guess i am upset about the most. true there were very unique files i had because they were messages on my answering machine or files that other people sent to me that cannot be found anywhere but a lot of the files were things i found online or scanned. what is completely lost are all the wallpapers i created. the first few ones i created were crappy because they were experimentations but the latter ones were pretty good. i searched for a few pics and quickly put together a few wallpapers to spice up the desktop a bit but it's just not the same. this is a new era.
