slideshow presentation with iphoto [geeking]

tonight i showed pics of our new zealand travels over at my grandparents' house. i think that was the final presentation. each presentation is shorter than the previous. i use iphoto to slideshow the pics and then i talk as the images go by to explain what they are.

for the most part, i really like iphoto. it's basic and does the job well enough. or i've learned what it can and cannot do and have adapted my use of it accordingly. it's great for slideshows of photos i take with my digital camera. the only feature i would really like to see is to display the comments of photos during slideshow presentations. it really makes no sense to have the option to display the titles of photos because iphoto is designed for photos from digital cameras, which assign numeric sequence titles that do not convey anything about the image itself. to expect users to manually change each title is silly. that's why the comments option is great for relaying info about the photo and why i don't understand how viewing comments during a slideshow is still not available with iphoto 5. at least, it's not available as far as i can tell from reading about it online. i only have iphoto 4 and i'm starting to lose my voice after narrating so many presentations ;)
