today was my second day of the internship and i'm not a slacker, i get things done right away and there wasn't much to do. i was feeling a little bored and went home early, think it surprised them. i mean, there's really no point in just sitting on my ass for hours and not being productive. i didn't leave until about 4:30pm but the lady i talked to on the phone seemed surprised that i was leaving at that time. she wasn't there the day before when i stayed until 5:00pm. i guess people usually stay until 5pm or 6pm but she had said that i don't have to give a full 8 hours a day for 5 days so i don't know why she was surprised. i'm going to have to come up with some sort of schedule on my own and hand it to them.

i think i also had to leave early 'cos i was getting hungry and i still am going through a bit of culture shock returning from new zealand. to go from vivid nature to parking under the freeway next to a homeless man is a bit grating.
