first we drove out to pasadena to have lunch with twiddle thumbs's former co-worker. they we swung by twiddle thumbs's parents' house so she could said goodbye to her aunt who was visiting from mexico. then we went to out to the block in orange with my mom to investigate cell phone options. unfortunately we cannot use our nz cell phones at this time. they are locked for vodafone! this one place that unlocks phones does not have the right cable to connect it to the pc and unlock it. they said they might get the right cable in 3 weeks. we don't have that kind of time! we need phones now to get working asap. we also went to cingular and t-mobile to check out their rates.
