bulk buying does exist in new zealand... [living]

...well, sort of. today we were walking along and saw a place called moore wilson's. i know the name because the apartment cupboard has some spices in it from there that must belong to the landlord. i thought perhaps it was a gourmet food shop. no, it's a wholesale market with a few stores in the wellington area. not quite like costco or sam's club. the prices are a little cheaper than a regular store but you're not forced to buy huge quantities of every piece of merchandise like the american counterparts. you can buy individual water bottles, for example. also, membership is free! why didn't i find out about this place before? think of all the money i could've saved on bread and soy milk. damn. at least i found it before i left new zealand!
