i woke up at around 4:30am thinking that i would soon have to get up. wrong. go back to sleep. my phone alarm goes off at 7:30am and i tell it to shut up. it gets me up 5 minutes later. the room was stuffy because the other girls in the dorm room left the heater on all day and night. i hate that. we ate breakfast and waiting outside for the bus to arrive at 8:50am. it didn't get there until 9:10am. we chatted a bit more with the french guy as we waited for the bus.

today was an even zippier day of traveling. we stopped to drop off and pick up some people in rotorua. we had a lunch break in matamata. then straight through to auckland. we got there in the early afternoon. if we were in our own car we could of went from wellington to auckland in one day but that's ok. kind of nice to spend a few moments in places we've been to before.

in auckland we're staying at base backpackers. the first thing i did back in the city was go over to postie plus to buy something i saw there around christmas time: che bubble bath. crazy but true. i saw some che lip gloss in wellington. i was only gonna get that if i could get the bubble bath. now i have a che set! ahahaaaaaaaa

for dinner we didn't feel like cooking again and went to burger fuel to have vegan burgers and kumara fries. we took the link bus around and wandered around queen street. so strange to be here again yet so nice to be in a city among people. auckland, the city of cheap internet in new zealand. only $2 per hour. ah, my arm is tied off and i am getting my fix right now.
