we had to get up early again to board the kiwi experience bus. so long christchurch. we decided that you're not exciting enough. too cold as well. besides, while we were here we did some flat searching in wellington and found something that sounds perfect. vegan, furnished, on a trendy street, decent price, available now. gotta leave now if we want to secure it.

kaikoura

we arrived in kaikoura. it's warmer up here and this place is known for it's ocean activities such as whale watching or swimming with the seals. we checked into the lazy shag hostel. there's no tv but otherwise it's alright. it's run by a japanese lady and the cleaners are japanese kids traveling through. japanese = clean. there is free internet but it is so damn slow.

we walked around the town in the day time and again at night for some star gazing. i suppose it's a nice, small, sleepy, lazy dazy sort of beach town that is good for a weekend getaway. however, there's nothing here that interests me today and i just want to hurry and get up to wellington to find a flat.
