why not me [reading]
last not i finished reading "why not me?" by al franken. this book is hilarious! it's a fictitious account of the making and unmaking of the franken presidency. al franken used to write for and be on "saturday night live". he was funny then and he's funny now. or at least he was funny when he wrote the book. it takes place during the 2000 elections. he beats out gore for the democratic seat. he wins a landslide and it's all just really funny stuff. we picked this one up at one of the hostel book exchanges. nice.
