boots, motorcycles, and woosh--oh my! [living]
this morning i actually bought a pair of hiking boots, after much bitching and moaning about not being able to find a pair that fits well. had a political conversation with the worker that assisted me, an 18 year old soviet immigrant. i have always found russians to be eloquent and passionate political speakers. i'll have to get some super ass thick socks and wear the boots around the apartment to be sure this is the right pair.
on queen street, a parade of motorcycles went by. non-stop. 5 minutes. at least. i would say there were 300+. it was amazing. i've never seen so many motorcycles. at the end were a few police escorts so it must've been something, but i have no idea what was going on today with the motorcycles.

this picture hardly represents all the motorcycles that went past
then i tested out woosh wireless for my boss and damn, i wish i always had this in new zealand! dial-up sucks! then i went to work. yes, worked on sunday. went on an errand run to get refreshments and supplies for when the big boys visit, which is starting tomorrow! aahhh. have to get dressed up from now on. and get there early. on foot. no more bus pass. it's good for me but i hate to sweat when i'm dressed up. not good to be stinky in nice clothes.
