yes, i made it on kiwi tv, after being here only 49 days. top of the pops no less. but just in the audience. (see earlier entry regarding attending the taping of the donnas and le tigre on totp) still, to see yourself on tv, no matter how stupid you look, was cool.

i tried to videotape it by pointing my video recorder at the tv and the results were horrible. got that no-match-cycle-flicker sort of crap shit but i thought that at least i could pull a frame still. NO. even on manual mode, there is still some sort of auto-focus at work and so, the fast-pasted editing confused my camera and the exact moment when i was on tv was blurred and color-bled-through. so, alas, all i have on tape is the audio where my flatmates are shouting "that's you!" and such. looks like i'll just have to keep getting my face on kiwi tv until i can get proper evidence of being on kiwi tv.

maybe one day, some kind soul who taped it will send a proper video still of me on totp with le tigre.
