now i have a cell phone [traveling]

yes, i now have a cell phone in auckland. a camera cell phone at that! tomorrow i get to pick up my sim card so i don't know what my phone number is yet. having a phone number is vital to finding a job and a place to live. otherwise, how will people get a hold of me? i'm hoping that these two things will fall into place very soon. in fact, in 45 minutes i will hop on a bus to check out a place to live. a place requesting vegetarian flatmates, no less! should be interesting. it's a bit further from cbd (central business district, or what americans might call downtown) than i had hoped for, but who says i have to live right in the city? i just thought it might be easiest to find a job close to cbd since there's so many companies here. it's time to explore the suburbs!
