auckland: settling in [traveling]
attended an orientation this morning at the iep office. i have already set-up an ird number (their version of a tax/social security type of thing) and a bank account. not bad for my second day. still got to work on the whole job/housing thing though. i need to find a place that will let me connect to the internet with my own laptop. or at least a place that will let me print files from my usb flash drive. i've really got to polish up my cv/resume and print it up in order to find work. decent work at least. i'm not going to work with food, animals, or children!
