world vegan day [ingesting]

we went to world vegan day LA in tarzana. it was a small event but that's because vegetarians are only 10% of the population and vegans comprise only 10% of vegetarians. as perry sang in jane's addiction, "that makes me 1%." there were mostly white people there and very hippie types. it was more like a santa cruz expo!

most of the food vendors there were offering raw foods, which isn't quite my thing. there was some really good food though. the peanut butter cheesecake from veggie panda wok in upland was outstanding.

there was some lame live music being performed. so lame that an older lady asked twiddle thumbs and i, "is this considered music?" yes, apparently some consider it so.
