so tired. just got home from the west hollywood halloween costume carnaval. basically we dressed up and walked up and down santa monica boulevard for a couple hours. we got there a little late but were able to find parking. too late for the shows though as they were starting to take down the stages. i did everyone's make-up except dani did twiddle thumbs's eyes, even though i told her not to ever let a straight man do your make-up. for make-up, i didn't decide what people should be, i just took requests.

there were some boring people there who didn't dress up at all and some even brought their kids. i didn't think it was appropriate but hey, i'm not the one who has to explain to them why guys were walking around with their dicks out.

i think the best individual outfit prize goes to the man dressed as the lady alien from "mars attacks" that martin short brings into the white house. she was flawless! i think the best group outfit prize goes to the 5-6 guys who were dressed as nurses. they had 1 doctor and 1 patient. they had all the props too, even a gurney and siren. it was just super cool. runner up prize goes to the 4 guys and 2 ladies dressed as geishas, complete with wooden getas.
