despite selling things back in santa cruz and throwing/giving away a lot of things, we still had some things to sell at a yard sale. twiddle thumbs's parents' entire garage is filled with crap which we helped to sell and added our stuff along to the yard sale. twiddle thumbs and i did most of the work so we came home very tired.

when we got home, my mom wanted to go see a dinner/flamenco show at the el cid in los angeles. my mom loves going there. this was my third time going there. we didn't have dinner there but they still charge $15 per head as a table fee. we didn't have a reservation so we're really lucky we even got a table. the bartender was a white guy from colorado with impeccable japanese skills. he said he lived in osaka for 1 year. he must've studied for years prior though. his japanese was highly impressive.
