my life is a sit-com [screaming]
the pasadena clinic for immunizations didn't turn out as expected. we got there and it was dead. the sign said they're open but no one was there. we waited for maybe 20 minutes in total. while waiting, we wandered all around the building, looking for signs of life. eventually a bunch of workers came, passed by, and totally ignored us. finally one of them came back out and asked if we needed help. turns out we walked into the wrong (section of the) building. we should've went one door over. oops. it looks like 1 giant building but i guess it's considered 2 buildings. we go to the proper place and no immunizations on fridays. oops. the guy at the front told us the hours of operation for walk-in immunizations, which is completely different from what we were told on the phone. fuck me, are we ever gonna finish the series of immunizations that are standard for adults to get every 10 years or so?

comical scene in pasadena
for dinner we swung by an afghani restaurant in pasadena. what i had wasn't that great. it was just so-so. damn i really miss parwana in santa cruz. they were the best. delicious vegan items available. truly heaven.
