this bedroom is starting to become livable! [living]

finally cleaned and organized my brother's closet. things are now put away neatly so that we can fit in our suitcases and some boxes. he has a plastic dresser in the closet and i went through that so that it's holding the maximum amount of clothing neatly. then i took off the hangars all the sweaters and folded them what i call 'gap style' because it made my brother laugh when he was younger. i put those sweaters on top of the plastic dresser. it sort of looks like one of those re-organized closets on tv or something. then i cleaned out my brother's wooden dresser too so that i have a place to put my clothes.

i found a lot of toiletries in the closet as well. i think my mom had put most of it in there when she cleaned out my brother's bathroom, in order to make room for my arrival. however, i found several bags of toiletries and tourist brochures, as if my brother never really unpacked after coming home from various trips. so i put all of the toiletries together in 1 box and sealed it up. i also put all of his music cds into 1 box. they were already in a box, but put away a bit poorly so that the box didn't hold too many. plus, we came across more cds as we were cleaning. i also gave him my wooden cd organizer from ikea and put in it all of his software cds. now i need to finish organizing his bookshelves. i found more books as i was cleaning and there's still room on the bookshelves for them. we found some dishes and a bag of food in his closet as well. we put the bag of food downstairs in case my mom wants to eat any of it. a lot of it is dried out, heavily processed, full of preservatives junk food but it still has a shelf life that must be observed.
