cnn: cunt news network [screaming]

noremorebush.jpg
know your enemy

please people, no more bush! i don't know how bush supporters can justify themselves. i really don't understand it. last night i couldn't catch the bush vs. kerry debate live because i went out to dinner, but i did watch commentary on the debate on cnn and then saw a bit of the debate rebroadcast. the commentary on cnn was so lukewarm. no one said there was a clear winner. everyone was so wishy-washy. not just the cnn journalists, but others as well. what the fuck? why won't you just saw how you really feel? i'm so used to the media being CRITICAL. these journalists were complete cowards. no balls. too afraid of their job to criticize the president. they sort of talked about how it seemed the president was making faces and looked bored when kerry was speaking. basically, that the president was being rude and immature. but they never said it harshly. pussies! speak your mind damn it! i've lost all respect for cnn. they're a bunch of cunts.

comedy central told it like it is. they said we should vote for bush because he is a retard who was able to hold his own during the debates and that alone deserves our vote. and don't forget poland!

watching the debates and the commentary, they talked of bush as being a man of the people and that's why he's popular because common folk can relate to him. i'm sorry, but who but the bushes can relate to bush? i didn't have my daddy buy my way into an ivy league university or save my ass from war or rig an election for me. ok, that's extreme. i understand there's corruption and money talks and that the bushes have a lot of power behind the curtains. but come on. of all the bushes, why george w? why did they put the village idiot in the white house? don't tell me he's the best candidate out of all the bushes. that is too scary.

i think each time i drive i see 1 car in LA that has a pro-bush sticker. in fact, i don't think i've seen any anti-bush stickers here. out of santa cruz and into reality. the reality is, people do like bush and they are voting for him. but who the hell are these people? rich, white republicans. that's all i can assume. i don't know who the hell could relate. our economy, education, and ecology has gone to hell. but as long as you have your big house, your trophy wife, your fat bank account, why should you fucking care? too self-involved to care about other people. too selfish. at least think about when you are a little older and all the dumb idiots who are going to take care of you. dumb because the education system has failed them. or that the earth will be too filthy and polluted for your children and their children. but no, you don't care about that because you think you'll be dead soon enough so why not let the world go to hell. the price to pay is not your burden.

when i was in elementary school, my favorite teacher talked about how she didn't recycle or didn't care about any of that stuff because she would be dead before the world really went to hell. thanks, nice picture you painted. leave it all up to us, the children in the classroom. all the recycling programs and alternative energy sources we were taught. why should we care at all if the adults who are teaching us don't care? what kind of message is that? i know it's horrible to think that you have to work so hard to stop and roll back the damage previous generations have done but you have to start somewhere. after my teacher said such negative things, i really lost a lot of respect and love for that woman. and i had so respected her too. she really was my favorite. i upheld her like she was my own mother. i bet she was republican.

check out an article from the uk, bush by numbers: four years of double standards.

and why isn't anyone talking about house bill hr163 senate bill s89? i mean, i haven't noticed any media coverage of it at all. it is called the "universal national service act of 2003". (search for it yourself at http://thomas.loc.gov/.) this has been in the house and senate since january 7, 2003 and i have only heard of it recently. what the hell is going on with this country?

this pending legislation in the house and senate will, if passed, create a mandatory draft for americans, ages 18-26. the draft will no longer be for just men. it includes women. the draft wouldn't be for emergency times of war, it would be mandatory service, the duty of just being an american, like in korea, israel, greece, etc. in addition, under this legislation, you have to serve for 2 years in the military or some sort of similar homeland security/national defense job. you cannot escape to canada either. they have already signed an agreement with canada not to let in people who are fleeing the draft. you cannot escape the draft by saying you are a college student. you would finish your current semester, then enlist, or if you are a senior, finish the year, then enlist. the legislation only excludes high school students who are enrolled full-time, in good standing, and not yet the age of 20. nor can you escape by saying you are a conscientious objector, like people used to do in the past. now you must enlist, but you will not be trained for combat. so i guess if there was an outbreak of war, your ass would be stuck out there but you wouldn't no jack shit of how to handle the situation. nice. you really think the military needs that many chefs, drivers, etc. non-combatant people? not if it came down to a full-out war. and if you know who continues to be in office...

this legislation, if passed, would be effective in 2005. at the earliest, you would have to report by march 31, 2005 and serve as early as june 15, 2005. i could only stomach this mandatory draft if there was mandatory healthcare. if america finally put in place a government backed national healthcare system, then a mandatory draft would be tolerable because the government would be giving and caring for the people. in return, you would give back to your country. i'm not saying it will go through, but hey, i never thought pearl jam would be popular or america would be stupid enough to put a bush in the white house a second time. if after w, they put in bucktooth jed, that's it, america would be beyond saving.
