at last, a mexican vegetarian restaurant [ingesting]

went with twiddle thumbs, a friend of her family's, and her friend to eat at a mexican vegetarian place in studio city called leonor's. the portions are huge for the price. perhaps a little too much cheese for my taste on the dishes. it's soy cheese but still, there's probably casein in it. besides mexican, it looked like some of the dishes were from bolivia and/or argentina. or at least one of the sauces is called 'bolivian'. they also serve pizza. i was curious to try a sandwich or the pizza, but damn it, i've been looking for a mexican vegetarian restaurant so i had to get the tacos. to drink, i had an ice tea made from flax seeds. the first sip was strange but it was pretty good.

after i went home, i remembered that i had read about the place before and it wasn't a good thing. "leonor's lays an egg--with casein in it!" i guess it'll be awhile before i find a mexican vegan restaurant.
