loading the truck [living]

this morning we all went to dharma's for breakfast. by now twiddle thumbs's dad probably thinks all of santa cruz is vegetarian. later this morning, el prind came over and helped wrap things with twiddle thumbs's dad. thank you el prind!

after he left, twiddle thumbs and her dad went to search for 'two long lost cousins', AKA some guys to help move. they did most of the truck loading. then carol stopped by and helped out too. heliosphan came by and we started shredding. things were going slow so she went to get her shredder too. thank you heliosphan!

lorraine and janez came by to take things to the thrift store. that really helped out. carol sold my bookshelves to someone she knows. then carol started selling our stuff to the neighbors too! thank you lorraine! thank you janez! thank you carol! kelly and luisa stopped by too. thank you all!

the truck seemed small but at the end of the day, we were surprised when they said they needed more things to put in the truck to help stabilize everything, so we just started boxing up everything and stuffing it in. there were some things we weren't going to take with us but twiddle thumbs's dad wanted to keep them.
