skull Projects

Another "project" of mine is to minimize my life and I'm starting off by selling (and a few trades) most of my music collection. For now I am only listing about 200 pieces at a time, otherwise it becomes too much to deal with. If you do not see what you are looking for, then email me which band you are interested in and I'll see if I have what you're looking for. half.com, ebay, amazon.com, lala.com

congratulations card [living]

i cleaned up a little bit--weeding through my things and throwing out crap. i used to correspond with a lot of people all over the world but mostly in japan. a couple years ago i picked through the letters (i kept all of them for years!) and weeded them down to one big shoe box. tonight i sorted through those old letters and have weeded them down to the bare minimum. some were letters from fellow buck-tick fans and they made their own stationary. it's pretty cool. one day i'll scan them and throw away the letters.

my mom had a friend that had two daughters, one was just a few months younger than me. her name is lisa. her family moved away from LA and then my family returned to LA. we weren't really close when we both lived in LA but once we were separated, we got really close through letters and being teenagers in general. funny how things work out. i haven't really been in touch with lisa since i moved out to go to college but i will always treasure her friendship. i was skimming through the letters to try to pinpoint exactly when we became close and came across something really amusing. she wrote something like, "i'll send you a congratulations card if you make a move on just one guy". damn, i should've framed that one. ok, so i've never made a move on a guy. but i did sorta hit on a female staff person who was checking IDs at a jane's addiction concert a few days after i turned 21. does that count? do i still get a congratulations card?
