well i told the new big boss i'm leaving today. well i'm not leaving today, but i told her today about my plans to leave in september, stay in LA for a bit, then go on to work in new zealand. i really wanted to tell my direct supervisor first, but she's been on jury duty and will continue to be for awhile. if the case goes a little bit over, i won't see her until i get back from my trip in japan. the big boss lady said how they in the department had been speculating as to whether or not i would continue to work there as now that i had my degree i probably didn't want to stick around. actually, she's very good friends with twiddle thumbs's supervisor and twiddle thumbs told her office that she's leaving 1 year ago. so i'm sure the new big boss lady knew about me leaving before she even applied for the job!
