anyone but bush [thinking]

while many may feel that the next president should be anyone but bush, it would be nice to elect someone who would undo some of the damage that bush has done. a lot of worthy programs have been cut thanks to bush and it would be wonderful if some of the cuba-related restrictions could be undone. such closed doors only further international mistrust and we have made that mistake too many times and not learned from it. a suggestion: support senator kerry on travel and humanitarian aid to cuba. of course, usa presidential voting in itself often seems in vain as your vote does not determine the president, it's just a fucking suggestion. (see goddamn electoral voting) but it is nice to send out a message now and then that.. "we've taken all the shit now it's time for restitution" - system of a down
