the relatives have arrived [living]

i only worked a half day today so that i could meet my relatives that are visiting for graduation. today my grandparents, aunt, and 13-year old cousin (not the child of this particular aunt) arrived. we went to los gatos to meet them and immediately at at the restaurant closest to the hotel because my grandfather had not eaten all day. my plans to visit the film & digital media department reception were botched but that's ok. instead i gave them a brief tour of campus so they could get a sense of where i've been the past 10 years. my cousin is a big kid--he's already over 6 feet tall.

at the end of the day, i redid the dye job that got messed up last night. now all of my hair roots at the top are red. it reminds me of max cavalera during the "roots" album. i like it regardless. it's not something i will keep very long though. i don't know what's next--i don't have anything planned.
