i went down to the campus bookstore to buy one of the 15" superdrive powerbooks they have on sale. about 2 weeks ago, they had plenty in stock but i just had a feeling that if i don't go today then they will be sold out. they said they only have 1 left and it's on hold for someone. *doh* but if they don't claim it then it's mine. they said they already called the other person and are giving them until the end of the day. they said they would call me around 5:30pm. i get off work at 5pm but stayed until 5:30pm just in case. they never called. it took me awhile to weigh all the pros and cons of the powerbook prices vs. features vs. upgrades etc. and i really wanted the one on sale. i thought it would be the best choice given my needs and budget. i hope i get it. i hope the other person doesn't claim it.
