come out and play [traveling]
my brother drove up really late last night and arrived really early this morning. i woke up at 6:30am with a minor leg cramp and he phoned immediately after i got up to say that he had reached santa cruz. i answered the door to let him in then went straight back to bed. after everyone woke up, we ate lunch at saturn cafe, a totally santa cruz place (vegetarian and whacky decor, laid back slow staff, many friends of dorothy). then we drove up to san francisco. i booked a hotel so that way we could hang out late and not worry about driving back. and now it's time to hang out 'til late.
