what a difference a light makes [living]

i am an idiot when it comes to matters of lighting. i will live in a dark home, thinking that the supplied lights are inadequate. i will add a light fixture here and there to help but the room always seems poorly lit. i don't replace lightbulbs until they day but one day i will get the bright idea to change the lightbulb. *voila* i can see! i've changed the lights in the hallways and my bathroom. it's soooo much better now. however the big difference is in my bedroom. the light was so dim that when i wake up in the mornings, turning on the light doesn't make a difference. in fact, once i went to work without turning off the light because it wasn't bright enough in my room for me to think that there was a light to turn off! not anymore.
