i came home to an answering machine message about the cable is cancelled but we still have the equipment, so please return it. i was confused because i did call to have the cable cancelled, but they said the soonest they can do it is on the 14th. i paid through the 14th. today is only the 11th. i checked the tv...no signal. the cable is gone. i didn't even get to mourn it. i disconnected the box and rearranged things a bit so it wouldn't seem so empty. i won't be able to return the equipment until saturday the 15th so it really would have been much better if they disconnected it on the 14th, like they said they would. it's ok though, i knew it was going away anyway. better to have a clean break, i say. the money saved by not having cable will help to save for the move at the end of summer.
