i went to a post office branch today that i had never been inside before. i arrived just before closing. while the postal worker was weighing and stamping my items, i looked around her little cubicle: she has pictures of her kids or her nieces/nephews. i looked at her uniform: she was wearing several christian pins, such as "jesus 2004". i realized i was wearing a marilyn manson t-shirt. she probably was thinking what an abomination he is and i'm going to hell. just then, she looked at my shirt and asked me about marilyn manson.

clerk: who is marilyn manson?
me: he's a musician.
clerk: the name sounds familiar.
me: (thinking) yeah, he was banned from salt lake city for tearing up the bible.
clerk: does he play a lot of reggae?
me: (laughing to death inside) no...
clerk: it's going to drive me crazy now. i know that name.
