the cell phone arrived from mom yesterday. since my phone blanked out on me, she bought herself a new camera phone and sent me her old phone. i opened up the cell phones for surgery; took out the chip from my old phone and put it in my mom's phone. the chip allows me to use my phone number but all the phone settings don't get transferred by moving the chip. i wish settings also were transferred as it would make things so much easier. i had to change around the menus and play with the display size as it was set to old lady size. at least i did save a little bit of time with the address book since i didn't have to re-input all of my relatives.

how this all started... way back when, my mom asked if i wanted a cell phone. i told her no. she yelled at me because i am young and young people are supposed to be up on technology and use cell phones. i tell her i don't like cell phones, i use email! she then bought me a cell phone. she got herself one too, the same model. i didn't use it much so she yelled at me for not using the phone she's paying for! (i told you not to get me a phone!) so i started using it, mainly as a text message device because reception in this town is crap--i can't use the phone at home or at work!!!
