twiddle thumbs and i went to watsonville to pick up an old computer that we're gonna try to fix to give to a friend. we cleaned it up and added some software. i think it's gonna work out great. it was very hot day. when we went to pick up the computer, a sign at a bank displayed that it was 83 F. a couple minutes later when we drove past it again, it displayed that it was 84 F. it was still early in the day. we knew that we were in trouble. later at home, once i saw the living room reach 88 F, i stopped checking. it was just too hot for me. for some reason, i can tolerate heat in any city but this one.

after getting the computer, we went to a local fresh from the farm food stand and picked up some produce. it was so cheap for this area that it was shocking. the prices were about half of what we normally pay. still though, i think you don't have to drive very far in LA to find prices like that. this area is just so damn expensive for everything.

then i played some more "super monkey ball 2". i'm at world 8 now and it looks hard. figuring out these levels is going to take away too much time from my other priorities so i'm going to have to cut off the gaming for now.
