today was pretty funny. twiddle thumbs accidentally took home the wrong leftovers from her office lunch. she had someone's omnivore leftovers. so at my encouragement, she was calling around, trying to figure out who had her food. her assistant didn't have her food. she didn't have the right phone number for the co-worker that lives closest to us, so i drove her over there. they had just arrived home. nope, she didn't have twiddle thumbs's food either. but, they just bought a new dvd/vcr combo so i helped them to set it up. it didn't come with all the necessary cables and since i'm a cable queen, i ran home to get the one they needed. it was brand new too. i never unwound it. we got dvd picture/sound but couldn't get vhs picture. i left them to figure it out for themselves!
