...okinawa or new zealand? i'm not sure if i can save enough money to do this, but i'd really love to go to new zealand in the fall. i want to go through a program that will allow me to live/work there for one year. after that, go to okinawa for the uchinanchu taikai.

i am taking the first step. i have filled out the passport renewal form and today i took new passport photos. for some reason, i always look like an idiot in official photos. either i have silly hair or a silly face. it used to be that i liked having messed up hair in official photos. so if you look at class pictures and passports throughout the years, my hair is messed up because i thought it looked cool, but it really just made me look like a dork.
