6 years gone in 6 weeks [ingesting]

the change in my diet took place about 6 weeks ago. on march 7, i took all my measurements, with the intention of doing so every month to track my progress. yesterday, after taking my measurements, i realized that my mass is shrinking rapidly. it certainly doesn't feel like it when i look in the mirror, so i decided tonight to open up a box of old clothes and try them on. i boxed up clothes that i could no longer fit into, but that i still liked with the hope that one day i would be able to fit into them again. well, that day has come. i tried on my favorite calvin klein jeans that i used to wear often in 1997. i think i stopped wearing them in 1998. i was able to put them on, zippered up and everything. i can't quite wear them out in public yet but i was so happy that they fit. i think i lost 6 years of weight gain in 6 weeks. just for fun, i tried on some pajamas that i was never able to wear. they were a gift from my mother. she bought them during her trip to china/korea in late 2001. when i first saw them, i thought my mom made another clothes mistake with me. i am not a small asian girl--i am an american football player! i was able to put on the pajamas, no problem. that i can even put them on, i am in shock. i guess i am a fat chinese girl. i'm very very pleased that i could fit into the pajamas. in fact, i'm wearing them now as i sit typing this. for fun, i also tried on an army fatigue shirt that i used to wear as a jacket in high school. i was able to put it on, buttoned up. but it was still a bit small to wear as a jacket. i don't care. i was amazed that i was able to wear clothes that i wore 10 years ago. the future looks good.
