today we went to a birthday dinner for heliosphan at buca di beppo. i had never been there before. damn, let's just say i'm stuffed. since the portions are huge and you're supposed to share, i think that place is perfect for when you are going out with a lot of people. and you'd have to be a lively mood to enjoy the place. drinking would be encouraged. ;)

i must've been sitting in the wrong part of the restaurant because i saw tons of pictures of sophia lauren but not a single one of the greats like anna magnani, clara calamai, monica vitti, isa miranda, alida valli...

on the way home we decided to stop in los gatos to see the christmas lights display. i saw this display last year and didn't notice anything different. then again, christmas lights just aren't my thing so i probably wouldn't notice differences anyway.
