today we drove back to santa cruz. i made a stop in sun city to drop off a present for a friend but she wasn't there. we took the 5, then the connector to the 101. normally i don't take the 5. it's boring and i hear it only saves you 30 minutes. the last time i clearly remember taking it was 9 years ago so i wanted to check it out once more. well, i found out that it is boring and it only saves you 30 minutes. i think i'll stick to the 101. i drove all the way down to LA and all the way back up, and all the driving in LA... and i hate driving!

came home, the algae fish is still alive! yay! he's very small though. he will die if he doesn't eat soon.
