some people say they get ideas while they are on the toilet. some people say they sing in the shower. i get my ideas while taking a shower or right as i'm falling asleep. i usually forget them. today whilst taking a shower, i had an idea for a film based on my own life. the main character will be an adult and have fragments of memories from their childhood that they are trying to piece together, along with some dreams they are trying to interpret. these memories and dreams of course go hand in hand. while they talk to family and friends, they begin to get clues about their life as a child and things start to make sense. this is a vague picture of how it will be. i had solved (or put together a reasonable explanation) parts of my own memory puzzle but just today i think i figured out another piece, which is what was the catalyst for using this idea as a film project. but first, i must do my coursework!
