piggy pop vs. davey jones [listening]
after briefly discussing iggy pop and david bowie's relationship, heliosphan made me a compilation cd so i could get a feel for their music. i know some songs but i want to learn more so i thought it was a nice gesture. however, as one can't help but have heard some of their songs throughout the years, (and as i do own more than a few cds), the tracklisting wasn't completely foreign to me. if i had only known those artists through the songs on the cd, i would say that i wouldn't have been interested in anything further. it just seemed to be the other end of the spectrum that i would approach their works from.
